I’m Alex Wallace, founder of The Dogs By Alex. Based in South London I offer both dog behaviour sessions and portrait photography. Both? Absolutely.

I want to see a world where everyone honours dogs with understanding, love and compassion. Understanding of behaviour and body language, emotions and feelings. Compassion for dogs in a modern world. If you feel out of your depth, at a loss of how to deal with the behavioural challenges you’re facing with your dog, you are not failing, you just need a guiding hand. That is exactly why I offer dog training and behaviour sessions.
My love for transforming the lives of dogs and their guardians through overcoming behavioural challenges is also why I love photography. Both celebrate your dog’s life through joy, trust and freedom.

Great dog photography requires a high level of commitment, passion, patience, knowledge and experience to create characterful and intimate portraits of your dog. I want to treasure your dog’s uniqueness, their full personality and everything that makes them special. It’s not just about sitting in front of a nice backdrop. It’s about understanding dog behaviour and building a connection to ensure your dog is celebrated through photography, but can also be relaxed and natural in every session.
